Good to Know When Uploading Video to Squarespace
Optimize Your Videos
Don't forget to make sure your video is optimised as much as possible. The maximum video file size you can upload is 20MB.
Slow videos lead to slow websites, which can result in frustrated customers, and bad SEO.
You can use free sites like Ssemble and Veed.io to reduce the size of your video before you add it to Squarespace.
Maximum Upload Limit
You can upload up to 30 minutes of video to your Squarespace site.
If you run out of space, I recommend seeing if there are any old videos on your website you no longer use that you can delete.
Alternatively, you can pay for a Members Areas subscription and receive extra storage, or embed a video from YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia. Embedding a video doesn't count towards your allowance.
