Squarespace Promo Codes 2024: 5 Proven Ways to Save 10-50%

5 ways to save money on Squarespace - main image

It’s always nice to save a little money, especially when it comes to your website.

Hosting, integrations, maintenance, content creation and support… costs can quickly add up!

The good news is that if you use Squarespace, there are some handy tricks you can implement to keep costs low.

Read on to find out more about promo codes for Squarespace and what other discounts are available.

Our favorite ways to get a Squarespace promo code in 2024

1. Use a promo code

One of the easiest ways to save cash on your Squarespace subscription is to use a discount code. Just apply it at checkout, and you’re good to go!

Squarespace is transparent about the promo codes it offers, meaning you don’t have to search high and low for them!

Promo code for Squarespace

The one I regularly see on rotation is GIMME10 – which gives you 10% off any plan.

Some affiliate partners also have their own Squarespace promo codes you can use to get money off. These are usually limited to 10% off, the same as GIMME10.

The Squarespace promo code is only valid for your first purchase, so if you already have a Squarespace website, you can’t use the code.

While you can use the promo code on either an annual or monthly plan, you’ll get a larger discount if you use it on an annual plan – I’ll explain why this is the case later.

While the GIMME10 code works all year round, you might get a bigger discount at certain times of the year. I’ve seen Squarespace go to 30% off occasionally!

If you’re not in a rush to create your Squarespace website and are willing to wait, this can be a great way to save a lot of money.

Regularly check the Squarespace website or sign up to the Squarespace mailing list to be the first to know.

The Squarespace promo code is a great place to start if you want money off your website.

However, if you want to save even more, there are some other options available…

2. Become a Squarespace Circle member (or work with a member)

Squarespace Circle is an exclusive membership open to Squarespace designers. If you build or contribute to at least three active Squarespace websites, you can apply free of charge.

One of the significant benefits of Squarespace Circle membership is that you get 20% off new website subscriptions, as well as subscriptions to email campaigns, member areas, and scheduling.

Not eligible for membership? You can save money on your Squarespace website by working with a Squarespace Circle member. When they create your site, the 20% discount will be automatically applied.

How can you find a Squarespace Circle Member? Just look out for the Squarespace Circle logo on the websites of the designers you want to work with.

Alternatively, you can find Squarespace Experts listed on the Squarespace Marketplace site. These are Squarespace Circle members who have undertaken a rigorous vetting process and are the best of the best!

3. Sign up with a student discount

Lining up a cool job after you graduate? Squarespace is a fantastic way to show off your portfolio of work and encourage potential employers to get in touch.

Squarespace offers a brilliant 50% off your first full year of Squarespace – the biggest saving on this list!

To take advantage of Squarespace’s student discount, you need to sign up for Student Beans. You then get an exclusive Squarespace promo code. Sign up for Squarespace, enter your code, and you’re all set!

If you’re already using Squarespace, Squarespace can apply the code retroactively too – get in touch with customer support with your code, and they’ll do the rest.

Bear in mind that this discount only applies to university or college students.

(If you’re still at school, don’t worry, there are still lots of ways to save money on your Squarespace subscription!)

4. Become an affiliate

Okay, this isn’t a discount code as such, but it’s a great way to make extra money you can put towards your own Squarespace website!

By recommending Squarespace as a content management system, you can earn money when people sign up for a paid subscription.

How does the Squarespace affiliate system work? You sign up and create your own links to the Squarespace website, which contain a tracking code unique to you. If someone signs up using your link, Squarespace credits the link to you, and you earn a commission.

There are two versions of the Squarespace affiliate program. The first one is open to everyone, and you can earn between $100 to $200 per referral.

The second is only open to Squarespace Circle members – while you can earn more money more frequently, you need to meet an ‘unlock threshold’ before you start earning commission.

5. Pay annually instead of monthly

Paying for things in advance is a really easy way to get money off. If you pay for Squarespace for the year rather than on a monthly basis, you can save up to 30%.

So here’s how much you pay if you pay monthly…

Plus, as an added bonus, you can also use your discount promo code!

So let’s say you sign up for the Squarespace Business plan. This would cost $396 a year if you paid month-on-month, but if you pay for the year in one go, you can get it for $276.

Add your GIMME10 discount, and you only pay $248.40!

You also get additional money-saving benefits if you pay for the year in advance.

For example, you get a free year of domain registration, and a free 12-month Google Workspace subscription if you sign up for the Business or Commerce plan. The Google Workspace account alone can save you over $200, which is a massive saving!
